My buddy Chris asked me about this the other day and I thought I'd share what we found. We had a situation where we wanted to create an indexed PDF from a website. It was one of those scenarios where you want information from a website available offline on an e-reader. It turns out that this is waaayyyy easier than you'd think. Adobe Acrobat Pro has this function built right in! I've been using Acrobat for my assorted jobs throughout the years and had no idea that it was capable of that. Plus, it's very easy to do.
Step 1: Start your web browser and navigate to the index of the site you'd like to convert.
Step 2: Select and copy the address from the address bar.
Step 3: Start Acrobat Pro and go to File --> Create --> PDF from Webpage
Step 4: Paste in the address, set your options, & you're all done!
Problem solved!
